About
Karthik Kumar joined Axis AMC in June 2019 and since then, has been leading our efforts in developing the Quantitative vertical for the fund house across platforms. Currently he is responsible for managing Axis Quant Fund, Axis Arbitrage Fund, Axis Momentum Fund, and all Passive offerings.He has widespread experience in building and managing Quantitative strategies for India and for the Asia Pacific Region. Prior to joining Axis AMC, he was based out of Hong Kong working as a Portfolio Manager at SilverTree and Asiya Investments managing Long only & long-short funds. He started his career with Asiya Investments in 2008.Qualification:- MBA from Krannert School of Management, Purdue University, USA and B.E in Mechanical Engineering from Mumbai University (Sardar Patel College of Engineering). He is also a CFA charter holder.
